Business Case
- UK’s largest water & wastewater utility company wanted to Upgrade the existing legacy Automation system in few of their selected wastewater treatment plants. We assisted one of the leading international engineering service providers, with reverse engineering of the existing Automation systems followed by design and development of the new Automation system conforming the latest standards
- The project involved:
- Upgradation of legacy SCADA and selected PLCs
- Addition of new instrumentation as per regulatory requirements
- Rationalization of Telemetry signals
- This implementation enabled the utility company to optimize plant operation, reduce the system downtime and increase the overall plant efficiency & throughput

Project Scope
- Create Design Documentation (SDS)
- SCADA Application development for 10+ wastewater sites comprising around 80 no. of PLCs by reverse engineering the existing site back-up
- Adherence to customer standard whilst development of PLC / SCADA Application
- Logic development for PLC (AS)
- Integration of new instrumentation in PLC and SCADA
- Telemetry rationalization
- Configuration of Web Navigator, Reports etc
- Integrated Testing, FAT for the system
